In this position you will:
Direct Foundation’s “Philanthropy at Work” request for proposal program. Oversee application process. Approve capital funding via Strata Jazz system. Educate and assist requesting departments in completing requests and subsequent funding.
Manage the Foundation division’s departmental-shared service budgets. Advise department managers in creating annual operating budgets. Create Foundation budget advising the special events team with trends and analysis. Assist SHS departments in budgeting for revenue accessed from Foundation funds. Enter all budget data in SRC database partnering with Decision Support. Analyze departmental budgets to ensure accuracy and accountability. Prepare narratives and explain any variances.
Prepares other financial reports or analysis, especially Campaign reports and analysis, as requested to internal or external parties. Provides the required research and analysis in support of such reporting.
Staff Foundation’s Board of Governor’s Investment and Allocation committees. Provide financial data and reports. Ensure actions and directives are implemented and completed
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting or related field
Education in Excel, Word, Access, or their equivalents.
Education with large, sophisticated fund-raising data software (Blackbaud's Raiser's Edge and Auction Tracker)
10 or more years experience in a healthcare or other related finance position
Experience leading and directing the work of others.
