Robert Half Management Resources is seeking an interim Assistant Controller for a secure company in the Vancouver area. This is projected to be a 4-5-month project with an opportunity for a long-term role. In this position, the Assistant Controller is responsible for financial reporting, consolidations, budgeting, planning and leadership. This role is essential in supporting the organization and requires someone who is proactive. This is a wonderful opportunity to work with a reputable organization that values their employees.


• Assist in the development and implementation of goals, policies, priorities and procedures relating to financial management, forecast, budget, and accounting.
• Oversee compliance with local, state, and federal laws regarding finances and taxes
• Provide regular reporting on status of corporate finances
• Implementation of internal control policies and procedures
• Maintain accounting standards within established policies and procedures
• Prepare cash flow forecast on monthly basis
• Maintain all contracts, leases, and other legal and financial records
• Coordinate all financial audits
• Prepare specialize reports as requested management
• Assist in managing all aspects of accounting

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or finance
• CPA strongly preferred
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• Strong proficiency with Excel and industry standard accounting software, including Crystal Reports and Hyperion
• Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills required
• High attention to detail and ability to prioritize competing tasks
