Pacific Bells, LLC is a large, multi-state company based in Vancouver, WA. We provide Payroll services for over 10k employees under 14 FEINS on a bi-weekly and semimonthly payroll calendar. We are seeking a qualified Payroll Compliance Auditor to join our team. Job Requirements: Minimum four (4) years experience in multi-state, large volume payroll accounting, account reconciliations, tax preparation and compliance. This is an exempt position. Experience utilizing Net Suite, MAS500 preferred Experience with Vendor relations CPP Certification preferred Knowledge of Federal & State laws related to payroll and tax compliance Coaching, organization, and customer service skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Ability to sit, stand, walk at will, communicate via telephone, & use the computer for various amounts of time throughout the day. Job Responsibilities: Monthly review of new hires and transfers to ensure State and Local tax withholding compliance Monthly review of PTO accrual and compliance Quarterly tax filings and payment review to ensure compliance Bi-Weekly review of 401k deferrals and payments in compliance Bi-Weekly review of all other deductions and payments in compliance Oversight of Year End W2 and Annual Reporting requirements Prepare Annual Tip Returns Form 8027 Proliant/NOVAtime liaison o Oversight, enhancements and compliance State/GL/Worker s Comp Audits: o Provide oversight o Analyze data for accuracy o Ensure accurate data is provided for the subsequent policy period premiums Federal/State/Local wage and tax discrepancy letters: o Manage responses between Proliant and Respective Agencies o Ensure all responses are provided in a timely manner to avoid penalties New State or Entity Start Up: o Contacting the Secretary of State and other Departments to ensure the Employer is registered to include Revenue, Unemployment and Tax Withholding Supporting various departments with this information Manage Unclaimed funds o Monthly reconciliation of returned payroll items o Monthly reconciliations, notifications and payments o Annual filing, notifications and State payments To include AP activity anticipated to be a minimal amount of volume. Manage Proliant GL Mapping for all Balance Sheets and Income Statement accounts Prepare and post payroll and payroll related journal entries in accordance with financial statement timelines Liaison with Accounting teams (GL and Cash Management) to support period end reconciliations of payroll accruals and cash accounts in accordance with financial statement timelines GL Reconciliation manage corrections and implement preventative measures * The salary listed in the header is an estimate based on salary data for similar jobs in the same area.
