Old Stove Brewing Company is now hiring for an Executive/Head Chef for our fun and lively Pike Place Market Restaurant and Brewery!

Salary: $76,000 - $96,000 depending on experience + medical benefits + bonus potential + paid time off + on-site parking pass.
Location: Seattle, WA
The Company: Old Stove Brewing company is a bustling award-winning craft brewery and restaurant in the historic Pike Place Market, with breathtaking panoramic views of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountain range.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintain Old Stove s high standards on food quality, cleanliness, presentation, and sanitation.
Developing seasonal menu dishes, as approved by owners.
Assist in proper pricing of dishes and events.
Working with management on proper staffing, training, scheduling, and various operational issues.
Hiring, corrective action, and termination procedures for Back of House staff.
Effectively supervising and evaluating Back of House staff.
Maintaining relationships with vendors, and continuous evaluation on pricing.
Timely reporting on financial metrics, and meeting with management team on a regular basis.
Vendor invoice input and payments through Quickbooks.
Help Events Coordinator with pricing and execution of various events throughout the year.
Maintaining the documentation procedures for all of Back of House recipes, cleaning activities, and SOP s.
Maintaining proper food and supplies inventory.
Executing occasional off-site, catering, promotion, and event activities.
Maintain yearly budgeted food cost and labor cost standards set by ownership
Monitor and control the maintenance/sanitation of kitchen, equipment and related areas to ensure a healthy, safe work environment which meets/exceeds federal, state, and company standards and regulations.

Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years experience in kitchen preparation and cooking in a fast paced restaurant environment. At least 2 years in an management capacity.
Ability to work with Microsoft Excel Word, and Outlook.
Financially savvy.
Maintains good hygiene, posture, and have required tools.
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
Must have the stamina to work a minimum of 60 hours per week.
Willing to work kitchen line/station(s) as needed.
Strong leader that enjoys motivating and leading teams.
Proven career stability.
High volume, complex foodservice operations experience - highly desirable.
