The Radiology Technical Assistant provides general support to the Imaging Department. This includes preparing the patient for the procedure/ exam, transporting the patient, assisting the technologist to transfer and position the patient, assisting the technologist to perform the exam if so assigned, keeping exam rooms clean and stocked with supplies, and other general technical and clerical support.
* High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Licensure, Registration, Certification
* CPR or BLS certification required, must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
* Certification as a C.N.A in the State of Washington preferred.
* Able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on assigned unit/department.
* No prior experience required.
* Previous exposure to the field of Radiology preferred.
* Able to safely transport and position patients in a safe manner and stock supplies
