Job Summary:

The training support function shall be responsible for creating, updating, reviewing and maintaining documents and training records and folders, to be approved by squadron Chief Training Officer. Training support function shall ensure compliance with the AFI 11-2MDSV1 for the aircraft attached to the 58th SOW, 33rd FW, and 56th FW and AFI11-202V1 (Chap 1-9) as well as applicable MAJCOM and local supplements for AETC permanent and attached parties. For AETC students, training support shall provide assistance with student gradebook setup, checks and closeout IAW applicable AETCI 36-2605 Volumes, syllabus and locally developed guidance. Training support shall review AETC permanent and attached party’s currencies on a regular basis coordinate with scheduling or flight personnel to ensure completion of required ground and flight training events and prepare proration documents for squadron Chief Training Officer approval. Training support function shall prepare local training/testing programs for aircrew when needed as well as waiver requests for approval by squadron Chief Training Officer or staffing through unit leadership to HQ AETC for coordination and approval.

  • The Contractor shall perform regular gradebook checks for syllabus compliance IAW guidance issued by the chief of training or DO.

  • The Contractor shall create, review, and update student/permanent party records, folders and grade books per the applicable AFI 11-2MDS-V1 for the aircraft attached to the 58th SOW, 33rd FW, and 56th FW and AFI 11-202V1 (Chap 1-9), associated MAJCOM and unit supplements, and locally-developed guidance.

  • The Contractor shall coordinate with Scheduling to ensure crewmembers are scheduled for ground or ancillary training, listed in the AFI 11-2MDSV1 for the aircraft attached to the 58th SOW, 33rd FW, and 56th FW and AFI 11-202V1 (Chap 1-9) as well as applicable MAJCOM and local supplements.

  • The Contractor shall consolidate, maintain, and post a printable schedule of training events and classes.

  • The Contractor shall prepare periodic training/testing plans IAW AFI 11-2MDS V1 for the aircraft attached to the 58th SOW, 33rd FW, and 56th FW for approval by squadron Chief Training Officer.

  • The Contractor shall prepare slides or other needed products for squadron Chief Training Officer approval for use in updates to squadron leadership containing the flight and readiness status of personnel.

  • The Contractor shall provide daily tracking of upgrade and continuation training accomplishment for the unit Operations Supervisor (or equivalent) as well as weekly summaries for the DO; deadline shall be as identified by the unit.

  • Responsibilities:

    The Contractor shall generate, review and edit the following reports/forms IAW local procedure /policy when required in performance of their duties:

  • AF Form 4324, Aircraft Assignment/Aircrew Qualification Worksheet;

  • AF IMT 1522, ARMS Additional Training Accomplishment Report;

  • Aircrew qualification level summary (also known as the “Letter of Xs”) and provide a copy of in-work and final documents to Wing Current Operations (OSS/OSO) and Wing Stan/Eval (OGV) NLT Monday 1630, unless otherwise specified by local squadron leadership/guidance;

  • Monthly and quarterly Ready Aircrew Program (RAP) reports and provide RAP inputs to Wing/Group OSS Training each quarter;

  • RAP reporting as needed by the current RAP tasking message;

  • Monthly summary of aircrew probation/regression status;

  • Grade Book report;

  • Locally developed forms or other AFI forms if applicable;

  • AETC Form 904, Training Summary

  • Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a DoDoperational flying unit (active duty, guard/reserve, contractor or civilian).

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience working with MicrosoftOutlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to operate the following systems/programs:

  • Computer based training and integrated management system(TIMS,GTIMS, and PEX)

  • SharePoint websites and communities of practice

  • Microsoft Access highly desired
