The Vice President of Business Development, National Accounts, is responsible for developing new business within the Pacific Northwest (Northern CA, OR,WA, ID, MT). This sales professional will generate new lease and services revenue for Donlen and establish deep and wide relationships within corporations, which have 100 to 1,000 vehicles/drivers. This is an individual contributor position with no direct reports - not managing a sales team. Essential Functions Generating appointments/sales calls Identify and develop new leasing and services customers within your assigned territory Proper lead qualification, comprehensive discovery, and value proposition delivery, leading to new business generation Selling Donlen approved financial and service programs Managing a robust sales funnel, with laser focus on meeting and exceeding annual growth targets Leveraging a defined sales methodology Provide strategic account management for new business signed; focused on maximizing all services and programs Providing consultative advice to customers and prospects i.e. Business Reviews, Replacement Analysis, Total Cost of Operations; Scorecards Creating a positive image of Donlen Corporation at regional business events Core Competencies High degree of financial and business acumen Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations Excellent time management skills Strategic thinking skills Fundamental understanding of relationship selling Must have a demonstrated track record of being a top-achiever in sales Goal-oriented sales professional with discipline to work independently is required Strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial statements and balance sheets, to make proper lease structure *LI-KR1 Mandatory Requirements Minimum required experience and education Bachelor’s degree 5+ years of leasing and or finance structure sales Salesforce CRM Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite of programs is a must Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Ability to interact with peers, management, prospects and customers in written and oral form
