This H-2A job opportunity is limited to qualified, available workers that are currently eligible to work in the United States, per federal regulation.
This is an H-2A job order for agriculture workers
*This is an application for apples, cherries, pears, blueberries and grapes
*Harvesting of apples, cherries, pears, blueberries and grapes
* Prune, thin and train trees and grape vines
* Workers will care for young non-producing fruit trees and grape vines including weeding, hoeing, trunk painting, hand fertilizing and growth selection by hand and clipping.
*Hand thinning of fruit trees and grape vines.
*Pruning of fruit trees and grape vines
*Train and limb positioning of fruit trees and grape vines.
*Providing general orchard labor
*Pack crops into containers

Job Requirements
*One month of general orchard work.
*Willing to commit to the entire contract period
*Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Salary/Wage/Benefits
*Payment will be $15.83 per hour
*The payroll period will be weekly
*Unpaid 30 minute lunch for workers working more than 6 hours per day.

Piece Rates:
Summer pruning $0.02 to $0.75
Tree Training $0.02 to $0.50
Grape Training $0.02 to $0.15
Yellow Cherries $6.00 per 20lb lug
Red Cherries $6.00 per 30lb lug
Blueberries $.75 per pound
Grapes $0.04 to $2.00 per lb.
Thinning $0.12 to $5.00
Apples $10.00 to $29.36 per bin
Pears
Bosc $25.00
D'Anjou $25.00
Bartlett $25.00

* The employer will furnish, without charge, all tools, supplies and personal protective equipment required in the performance of the specified work.
* Employer provided housing/kitchen facilities are available for employees who are unable to reasonably return to their place of residence the same day.
* Transportation costs to the job site for domestic workers from outside the local commuting distance of the job site will be reimbursed by the employer after 50% of the contract period. Transportation costs from the job site to the workers home will be provided to those domestic workers that complete the entire contract period.
* Employer guarantees to offer employment for the hourly equivalent of 3/4 or 75% of the workdays of the work contract beginning with the first day of work.

Hours/Days/Schedule
*Contract period is between April 20 to September 26, 2020
*36 hours per week
*Work hours will be 6 hours a day Monday through Friday and 5 hours on Saturday.
*Unpaid 30 minute lunch for workers working more than 6 hours per day.
