Overview: This Float RN teammate will support Anticoagulation (0.50 FTE), and shared time with Personalized Care Team and Care Management departments. Responsible for providing professional nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients under the supervision of a clinician or RN, Supervisor, or RN Charge Nurse. Delegates tasks as needed to professionals and para-professional employees. Coordinates activities and works closely with clinicians and staff to maintain efficient department functions and ensure successful operation of the department. Responsible for performing operational duties as required under the supervision of the site administrator or designee.
Schedule: Average 40 hours per week. Monday - Friday, between 7am-5pm.
Must be willing to travel to and from client clinic sites (Everett, Marysville, Smokey Point, Stanwood, Mill Creek, Lake Stevens)
In addition to your hourly rate, you will be paid a 5% Float Pool differential.
The initial training period may require full time availability. Please ensure you are available to attend training before applying to this position. Sites vary in their hours of operation. As a result, a teammate may be required to work on holidays, weekends, evenings, or night shifts. Additionally, factors such as workload and patient needs may require variations in work schedules, job assignments, and number of hours worked.
Experience: One year current clinical experience preferred
Education: Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing and/or BSN
Certificate/License: Current Washington State licensure required. Current BLS certification required.

* Knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice to give & evaluate patient care. Skill in applying & modifying the principles, methods and techniques of professional nursing to provide on-going patient care. Critical thinking skills, ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures. Computer skills to include EHR (EPIC), Intranet, Outlook, and Lab and Radiology Information Systems. Demonstrates an ability to communicate (verbal & written) and maintain good relationships with medical staff, management, customers, & other departments. Knowledge and ability to teach and apply current theories, techniques and practice.
