GENERAL SUMMARY Primary role of the IT Specialist includes co-administration technical support to one of Capstone's external customer locations. Execute projects coordinate between Capstone external company and other vendors about IT-related infrastructure and development. Requires travel to the customers location one or more days every week. Secondary responsibilities include serving as primary backup to Capstone's IT Systems Administrator on the internal systems network. Role also includes other IT consulting as requested by internal dataPARC team on customer projects. RESPONSIBILITIES Provide IT consulting and co-administration for a large manufacturing plant Required to travel to customer site one or more days per week and provide remote support on an as needed basis. Provide backup IT administration for Capstone Technology Provide IT consulting for dataPARC customers as needed from requests triggered by dataPARC Support Engineering teams. Maintain Active Directory, network services, monitoring solutions and server hardware. Provide technical support to company s internal end-users Install and configure new end-user hardware, software, and peripherals Install configure servers and storage hardware, software, and operating systems. Including (Server 2008 R2, 2012, 2012 R2, 2016) using server hardware, VMWare ESXi Hyper-V. Create in-depth documentation of processes and system configuration Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve issues with hardware, software, and networking Provide maintenance and support for Microsoft Active Directory Microsoft Exchange Process control equipment Office 365 Microsoft Dynamics CRM Microsoft SQL Server Microsoft IIS SwitchesRouters ShoreTel VoIP Phone System Monitors servers, DASNAS storage and related systems for performance and reliability and availability. Ensures that all systems are kept current with regard to patch levels and backups (ArcServe) are performed in timely manner.
