Job Description

You will support the development and finalization of a commercial airplane by participating in designing, validating and verifying the design, testing and calibrating avionic systems, such as computer and electronic communication panels. You will investigate problems found during flight test and provide recommendations for flight continuation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional acceptance and verification testing, establishing means of verification for requirements (flight testing, rig testing, ground test, and analysis).
  • Manage the ASIR configuration, support ASIR maintenance, assist with Avionics systems and ASIR performance during testing, investigate and troubleshoot all bugs found on the ASIR or MFC test programs.
  • Conduct certification testing for Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) system.
  • Support V&V audit activities both internally and externally.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience working with Avionics Systems including requirements development, validation, verification, and testing methods.
  • Ability to work with various aerospace standards and regulations.
  • Hands on experience with aircraft system maintenance and troubleshooting.
