We are an entrepreneurial, motivated, and passionate team, working in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and highly collaborative environment.We re looking for a seasoned marketer with deep customer lifecycle marketing knowledge to lead our customer engagement and retention function. Working closely with our brand and customer insights team, this role will glean valuable trends through analysis of the customer journey and customer segmentation, ideate marketing plans to deliver success against these customer segments and phases, building a roadmap, and working with key stakeholders to execute this roadmap across a variety of marketing channels including in-store, email, push notifications, and other personalized digital channels. This role will also own the holistic in-store experience, managing a team to deliver in-store signage programs and the overall CX strategy.Candidates will have experience working cross-functionally across internal and external teams, as well as an aptitude for data analysis. A mind for innovation, thinking big, and learning through testing is highly valued.Principal Marketing Manager Duties & Responsibilities Include: Developing in-store and digital marketing plans to drive engagement and retention Working closely with partner teams to automate successful campaigns Ideating marketing campaigns to drive retention, and collaborate across internal teams to execute these plans by writing campaign briefs and overseeing their deployment. Building net new programs to support engagement/retention objectives Analyzing campaign and program performance and report results to leadership. Diving deep into engagement and retention performance, and report on weekly progress with leadership.Basic qualifications 7+ years of marketing experience Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements 5+ years of digital marketing experience Ability to transform thinking quickly from high-level, strategic thinking into auditing detailed execution Excellent communications skills (written and oral) to drive recommendations, articulate tradeoffs, and communicate plans to senior executives Ability to juggle a range of projects across Amazon teams, balancing quality and speed Ability to work across channels to set and report on KPIs Bachelor s degreePreferred qualification Experience in grocery industryBrick and Mortar retail experience, particularly in in-store/shopper marketing
