To get there, we need exceptionally talented, bright, and driven people.Amazon is seeking a Program Manager for the Prime Now Whole Foods Market (3P) network. Your primary area of focus will be launch execution and scalability for new Whole Foods Market stores and product offerings with a focus on in-store shopper devices management. A successful candidate should have interest or experience in network-wide project execution specifically for mobile devices and IT hardware and should expect to develop and maintain a road-map for feature enhancements. This role will require you to understand the needs of field operators in order to successfully implement launches for long term success. You will act as the primary point of contact for technical and external stakeholders for all online devices products (Central Operations, Field Operations, Whole Foods Store/Regional Teams, External Vendors, Systems Engineers, and more). Consequently, as you will be the single voice for the operations team, clear and concise communication skills are imperative. You will also be expected to interact internally with senior-level audiences to provide updates and make recommendations that will achieve the long-term vision for Prime Now at Whole Foods Market. Additionally, the Devices Program Manager will flex into a Launch role when needed to help launch new Whole Foods Locations or programs. Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential. This role is located in Seattle.Responsibilities include:- Owning a System Engineer Road-map for Mobile Device Manager Feature improvements as requested by Amazon and Whole Foods stakeholders- Ticket system management for field operations and store escalations and integration with existing Amazon systems- Single Amazon point of contact for IT & Devices External Stakeholder management (IBM, Verizon, Zebra, Denali, Etc) specific to Whole Foods Market- 3P- Ownership and development of a Devices deployment process- replacements & upgrades- Overall budget manager for mobile devices in network (20K+ devices, 300+ locations)- Communicating risks to launch and the respective mitigation plans to senior leadership- Understanding the ins and outs of daily field operations pain points, and establishing excellent working relationships with field partners to identify ways to solve- Thinking creatively about how technology can enable a scalable and low cost launch structure- Gathering and analyzing data to identify ways to reduce the timeline required to launch new stores and products- Driving innovation that improves the customer experience and continuously removes cost from our fulfilment network- Participating in cross-functional project teams to scope, design, and execute complex projects across multiple organizations and stakeholders that enable the launch of new projects and processes- Developing Amazon best practices for internal operationsA successful candidate will also demonstrate: Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; general manager / owner mentality Ability to develop strong working relationships with remote teams, gaining trust and working together to solve painful problems Technology-minded brain that thinks in terms of how technology can act as an enabler High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously Ability to think strategically and execute tactically Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is required Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills to back up assumptions and develop business cases Ability to clearly communicate data insights to others Demonstrated ability to dive deep in understanding the product, our business, and the competitive landscapeBasic qualifications BA or BS 2+ years in product, program, or project management 2+ years of experience with root cause analysis and process design 2+ years of experience running network/nation-wide projects Data-driven decision making or quantitative analysis skills (including deep knowledge of Excel and SQL)Preferred qualification MBA or Master s Degree in a related field Experience working in Amazon s fulfillment network 3+ years of supply chain and/or retail industry experience 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional programs, including external and internal stakeholders Experience/certification in Lean/Six Sigma Mfg. methodologies Experience developing and executing a change management program across cross functional teams Excellent communication skills, ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences Experience working with cross functional teams Ability to deal with ambiguity Basic understanding of mobile networks and wifi configuration options Ability to negotiate and communicate with external vendors on behalf of Amazon Experience with Mobile Device Manager (MaaS360 or others) Experience working with technical stakeholdersAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
