AWS is looking for a highly motivated and deeply analytical Sr. Business & Sales Ops candidate to support the rapidly growing Global Systems Integrator Channels & Alliances team. We are seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial Program Manager to drive cadence and collaborate with the broader Operations team to continually improve and streamline processes, and act as a SPOC for various cross-team collaboration and enablement activities.

Roles and responsibilities include:
Manage the annual business planning cycle including long-term strategic planning and annual operational plans for the GSI team, coordinating with leaders of other business areas as needed. Work in partnership with the Operations leads to support Partner teams with streamlining and continually improving processes designed to deliver strategic business plans.

Set and manage the cadence for monitoring performance against goals, ensuring all stakeholders understand and plan for what needs to be delivered throughout the year. Coordinate across business partner teams to ensure baseline information needed to monitor the business is in place.

Coordinate all aspects of leadership team meetings, including managing the agenda, noting actions and follow-ups, ensuring follow-up items are delivered upon, etc.

Team Building: Facilitate meetings, working sessions and exercises that assist the leadership team in optimizing effectiveness amongst themselves and across the organization in general. Manage and execute the plans and actions that result.

Operational Excellence: Drive cadence across the business to help teams at all levels become more efficient and scale. Document processes and collaborate with Operations leads and field teams to improve processes, tools, and templates to make it simple and easy for teams at all levels to deliver and meet the Amazon quality bar.

Special Projects: Take on special projects on an as needed basis. This will include everything from helping the Operations Leads deliver on narrowly focused tasks to broader ranging research, organizational or other complicated items as assigned.
Achieving success will require coordination across many AWS teams, with impact and visibility at the highest levels of the AWS partner team. The successful candidate must have exceptional problem-solving skills, strong business judgment, and demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams. We are looking for a proven ability to execute both strategically and tactically, and someone who is excited to take on new, ambiguous projects.


Basic qualifications:
Previous experience as a program/project manager with a track record of successful product/services delivery
10+ years’ experience leading complex cross-organizational projects and land them with on time and with high quality
4+ years of PM experience in a related industry or segment
Exemplary writing and communication skills
Detail oriented, yet able to look at a wide array of choices & identify what truly matters.
Outstanding customer relationship management experience and collaboration skills
Experience working with global teams
Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
Passion for working with global systems integrators
Experience collaborating to design and implement process improvements
BS level degree required


Preferred qualifications
Prior experience with AWS as external partner using AWS in large-scale applications
Experience working with/for Global Systems Integrators and knowing the market landscape
Proven ability to manage and report against progress, mitigate risks, and make trade off decisions
