The Amazon Heavy-Bulky and Services organization is looking for a world-class Business Development Representative focused on the top manufacturing brands and national service providers.
The candidate will be responsible for working with top brands to launch their large and bulky products, distribution and if applicable, local dealership network's to the Amazon ShopLocal program. In addition, split duties to recruit regional and national service providers to help fulfill and provide a 5-star service experience with these products. Together we will create the ultimate shopping experience by pairing products with white glove local services and deliveries.
A successful candidate will have strong people and project management skills and must have the ability gather business requirements and partner with the various stakeholders to plan, deliver, test, deploy, and improve solutions. You will need to roll up your sleeves and have a high level of ownership, influence and accountability.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Build and execute a business plan for your product and service categories to deliver results as expected & aligned with the business objective of the organization.
-Define and execute on a strategic market development plan and ensure it's in line with the strategic direction and goals, in partnership with key internal stakeholders (e.g. business development teams, category owners, vendor managers, legal, support, etc.).
* Define and size segments, identify and engage key customers, and identify and engage key partners from the brand to distributors and dealerships.
* Build business development pipeline by engaging with key partners to have deep level engagement with identified customers and also scale to reach and acquire more customers.
* Understand the technical requirements of our customers and work closely with the internal development teams to guide the direction of our product offerings for developers.
* Learn, Understand and use of all internal Amazon systems.
* Present business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks to expanding our reach in the industry.
* Handle a high volume of engagements and interactions in the fast pace retail and e-commerce.
- Leverage all internal resources to keep driving an extremely high level of customer satisfaction.
- Understand and align with the companies leadership principals.Basic Qualifications:
* The right person will be technical and analytical, possess 5-7 years of partner/business development and/or program/product management experience.
* Bachelor's Degree from Accredited University.
* Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
* Experience in retail and e-commerce a plus.
- Ability to Travel 25-50%
