Are you the qualified candidate we are looking for in our high quality center for our Early learning Co-lead Prek teacher in the Seattle area! Interviews are January 14-25 or until position is filled.

We have a low classroom ratios with 3 teachers to 18-20 children with a great support staff!

understands the needs of Pre-k children, the love, attention and bond each child needs to build a trustful and loving relationship

Are you educated in early learning with a focus on ages 2.5 - 5 years old and a knowledge of ages 0-3

We are an Early Achievers school with the opportunity to earn a CDA in Early childhood or an associates, bachelor, or masters in Early childhood depending on requirements.

To be considered for this position, you will need to meet all state licensing requirements listed below:

Qualifications includes, showing the capability to possess high standards and believe that the care they provide is top notch.

Applicant needs to be able to demonstrate skills establishing effective caring relationships with staff, children, and families.

One plus years experience working with young children,

AA or CDA in early childhood education or the desire to work towards their AA or CDA

CPR/First Aid for infant, child and adult

Bloodborne and HIV certificate

30 hours of S.T.A.R.S within 30 days of hire


Criminal Background Clearance, and other requirements required by the Department of Early Learning.

Strong Team player as well as problem solving skills and communication skills.

Shows great appearance, cleanliness and has a professional manner with the desire to have fun!

Must be at least 18 years of age

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

Experience working with a team of Early Childhood Teachers a plus

Has an understanding of the development of the stages and ages of 2.5 - 5 years of age

A plus Child Development Association Degree or Early Childhood Education classes or degrees.30 hours of STARS, Will be required after working with our Center within the first 30 days

The position is a full-time position 35-40 hours a week.

Along with having a passion for excellence care and learning Prek teachers also share a desire to spark imagination, build self-esteem and create an environment of discovery in each classroom.

Able to collaborate with co-teachers.

Typical responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
assisting with creating and implementing the daily lesson plan which are Developmentally appropriate for each age, which includes social, emotional, language, cognitive, physical and self help skills and
documenting and assessing the children to build upon areas to meet their needs.
Providing a nurturing and loving environment which will build a bond with child and teacher and are able to work with other teachers, director and families in a professional manner.
