Job Description
Hiring for Level 3/4 Service Technicians!
Aerotek is partnering up with one of the largest custom HVAC & cooling systems manufacturers in the world. They are currently performing startups, troubleshooting & repairs on data centers in Hermiston, Umatilla & Boardman, Oregon, and support data centers worldwide.

Job Duties:
Service Technician 3/4 will be responsible for the startup, troubleshooting & repair of HVAC systems (media) in various data centers
Special Projects
Preventative Maintenance
Customer Service & interaction with clients on a daily basis
Assist in coordinating projects and supervising up to 5 Level 1/2 technicians at a time

Required Qualifications:
Trade certificate in HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing or electrical (Willing to accept more years of experience in lieu of degree)
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in an industrial or commercial environment (Willing to accept residential experience with exceptional references)
Computer proficient- MS word, excel
Electrical experience up to 480 v
Experience with hand and power tools

Preferred Qualifications:
Military/ Veterans are highly sought after
Experience with data centers or mission-critical facilities
Ability to obtain a passport & travel internationally

Career Path:
This company is hoping to create a base of operation in the Tri-Cities, WA (1 of 3 in the country), so this would be a huge opportunity for growth. There are only 5 technicians now and will be hiring an additional 15-20 technicians by the end of next year. The career path typically starts as a Level 1-4 technician. From there, technicians can choose to become a Project Manager, Technical Expert, Sales Representative or Area Manager. Company will put interested and qualified employees through training and programs. The intent is to limit the travel to 10% at some point in the next couple of years.

Travel & Upcoming Projects:
Starting out, this position will require 10-20% of travel within the Wenatchee area. The maximum length of time spent traveling is two weeks at a time, with at least one week at home.
Technicians traveling will have access to an expense account for meals, travel & hotels, paid mileage and per diem depending on the project.
